基本功能
PG电子游戏物理治疗项目旨在招收和留住有能力成为高水平物理治疗师的学生. 基本功能, 技能, 和能力确保学生拥有毕业所需的学术课程的所有必要属性.
基本功能, 技能, 能力指的是身体, 认知, 以及圆满完成课程各方面所需要的行为能力和培养全体学生所需要的专业属性.
- 认知能力 is required to master relevant content in basic science and clinical courses and to think critically and reflectively; for example, 评估患者的所有方面，评估数据的每个组成部分对可能诊断的影响，以及评估替代方案和每种方案对患者问题的潜在影响的相同过程. 所有方面都包括教育, 社区, 社会, 与工作相关的, 以及与家庭相关的领域以及患者直接的生理和心理发现.
- 人际关系技巧 are required to interact with groups of individuals from a variety of backgrounds; for example, 与病人建立融洽的关系, 客户, and colleagues; recognizing psychosocial impact of dysfunction/disability; and integrating the needs of the patient and family into the plan of care.
- 沟通能力 is required to communicate both in verbal and written form; for example, 解释治疗程序, 从病人和其他人那里获得必要的信息, 教育病人, 记录理疗师的行为和病人的反应.
- 迁移技能 are required to move from room to room and maneuver in small spaces; for example, 转移病人和应对紧急情况.

有残疾的学生有责任要求他/她认为合理并且需要执行基本要求的住宿.
